You would think that flying a helicopter is difficult. Well, it’s not as difficult as trying to not-fly it. Hovering with a helicopter is the most unstable, and power-consuming maneuver. It’s tough handling the controls so that the sum of all the forces is keeping the helicopter nice and steady. The net-force on the helicopter is very sensitive and very unstable. This is the first skill you need to learn in order to be a helicopter pilot.

Trying to simulate an environment for flying a helicopter.
the sketch itself is a front-view of the helicopter trying to steady it’s hover.

Troubles I had :

Equilibrium force – the “spring” that returns the “controls” back to the center.

Couldn’t really managed the forces right – net force mastering.

Perlin-noise wind ! how? now it’s just random.

Here’s the sketch
